Read Time:3 Minute, 17 Second

It’s the weekend my beautiful greeny apple family and this is officially the first weekend this new year that I will be posting on movie recommendations.

You all know I actually took a tiny bit long break, during the course of my break, I watched some really interesting series, movies and of course read lots of books which I can’t wait to share with you all.

If you are reading my movie recommendations for this first time, welcome to this fun aspect/category of my blog and I promise you, I don’t watch just korean drama series/movies but I’m obsessed with them.

If you are looking for other posts on movie recommendations, once you finished reading this post, there will be links of related posts which will help you get more posts on movie recommendations to watch. I usually posts this on Fridays/weekends.

Without any further delay, I will get right into this post. This recommendation is going to be a continuation of a particular kdrama series I’ve listed before but don’t worry, I will drop the link under the series spinoff.

2 KOREAN DRAMA SERIES TO WATCH THIS WEEKEND

1. TOUCH YOUR HEART

This is series is one of my favourite series I’ve watched this year. Last year, I recommended a kdrama series named GOBLIN and there was a spinoff from this series for Grim Reaper and Sunny who was his partner.

It’s the reunion drama project of Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na after Goblin. … Even the second video teaser of ‘Touch Your Heart‘ is Goblin-inspired. Its story sounds like a spin-off of their characters in Goblin who were reincarnated as an actress and a detective.

Touch your heart is a drama series about a famous actress, gets caught in a scandal with a son of a rich family; with her career declining quickly, she looks for one last hope to get back on the screen and lands a role playing a secretary in a drama written by a famous screenwriter. She was hired by a lawyer to be his secretary in order to learn about her new movie role.

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Episode per season: 1 season, 16 episodes

2. TRUE BEAUTY

Yes, this is also on my favourite list because I can’t stop watching it and I’m impatiently waiting for the last 2 episodes because it is really good.

Im Ju-Kyung is a high school student. Since she was little, she has had a complex about her appearance. To hide her bare face, Im Ju-Kyung always wears make-up. Her excellent make-up skills makes her pretty and she hides her bare face in front others. She gets involved with 2 men; Lee Soo-Ho and Han Seo-Joon.

She hides her insecurity behind make up because she was tired of everyone calling her ugly. She had to change schools because of bullies but no one really understood her pain. Even her mother was always scolding her but didn’t get to find out what was wrong with her. She even tired taking her own life when the torture was too much. At her new school, she is the most popular girl because of her flawless makeup skills. She got new friends and thought her struggles were far behind her but little did she know that she will encounter more struggles but will she be able to fight back and face her insecurity?

You will have to watch this extra ordinary drama because it is that good…

If you decided to watch this series, come back and drop a comment if you are Team LEE SOO HO or Team HAN SEO JOON…

I’m Team HAN SEO JOON by the way..

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Episode per season: 1 season, 16 episodes..

You can watch these dramas on Rakuten Viki app, My dramalist or kiss Asian..
