It’s another Friday my beautiful greeny apples and I’m saying a huge welcome back to another interesting FRIDAY/WEEKEND movie recommendation.

The title has given away the type of series I’m recommending today which means, there is no need to deny the fact that I’m already deep into the kdrama world.

I think some of the reasons I’m enjoying this drama/series is because, they actually not too long and doesn’t have never ending seasons. The stories are refreshing and different. I get to enjoy seeing the culture and the world of another race which is beautiful by the way.

So without any further explanation and also rushing to go back to enjoying my Friday night, I will be giving you guys 5 beautiful, amazing and interesting kdrama list to watch.

This compilation contains different genres which means you can choose what you would like to watch and like always, I will leave a description of each series down below the title.

Enjoy!!!

5 INTERESTING KDRAMA TO WATCH THIS FRIDAY/WEEKEND (ROMANCE)

1. I’M NOT A ROBOT (Romance/Comedy)

Kim Min Kyu, a wealthy shareholder of a financial company, is suffering from a “human allergy” that keeps him isolated and unable to undertake normal interactions with people. His guarded life is thrown for a loop when he takes an interest in an artificially intelligent robot named Aji 3, modeled after its developer’s ex-girlfriend. In hopes of getting funded, Hong Baek Gyun, Aji 3’s inventor, presents his work to Min Kyu. The robot malfunctions in the process and Baek Gyun begs his ex-girlfriend, Jo Ji Ah, to momentarily take its place, unbeknown to Min Kyu.

It turns out, Jo Ji Ah might be the cure to his allergy.

2. MOONSHINE AND VALENTINE (Romance/Fantasy/comedy)

A romance about a thousand-year-old alien immortal who falls in love with an ordinary human? I am so in. The story follows Guan Pipi, a timid aspiring journalist. This is a woman who lives as a doormat, always trying to please other people like her uninterested boyfriend and condescending best friend who likes her boyfriend behind her back.

Then she meets a mysterious and very wealthy man who inserts himself into her life. At first, he frightens her and she runs scared. But he won’t back down because he has loved her for a thousand years and knows she will feel the same. You see, each and every time she’s been reborn, they fall in love. But there’s a catch. A curse. She never has long to live.

Moonshine and valentine is giving the legend of the blue sea vibes and I’m sure going to love this series so much.

3. IT’S OK NOT TO BE OK (Romance/Drama)

The series tells an unusual romance story between two people who end up healing each other’s emotional and psychological wounds.

The drama tells the story of Moon Gang-tae a community health worker at a psychiatric ward who does not have time for love, and Ko Moon-young, a successful children’s book author has never known what love feels like. After meeting each other, the two slowly begin to heal each other’s emotional wounds. As the story progresses, the truth behind their intertwining pasts that has been haunting them is also revealed.

This is on Netflix.

4. OH MY VENUS (Romance/Comedy/Drama)

Kim Young-ho, a.k.a. John Kim, is a personal trainer to Hollywood stars. Despite his family’s wealth, Young-ho suffered a devastating illness in his childhood. But he believes living a healthy lifestyle and exercise is the only way to survive. He uses this to run from his family issues. His fear of his father and pity for his grandmother. A Hollywood scandal with an actress has him on the run back to Korea.

Kang Joo-eun was once an ulzzang in her teens, semi-famous for her pretty face and enviable figure. Now a 33-year-old lawyer, she has gained a lot of weight since. She passes out on a flight from the U.S. back to Korea and John Kim is the only medical personnel on the flight who takes charge. He watches out for her even after they arrive home. After getting dumped by her boyfriend, Im Woo-shik, she finds that she has the press pass for John Kim and proceeds to (blackmail) convince him to help her lose the weight.

She discovers that Young-ho has a weakness for being a knight in shining armor. She moves in with him, Ji-woong and Joon-sung (Korean Snake), after a stalking incident and also his brother needing money for marriage anyway caused her to sell her apartment. As they work on her physical transformation, both discover they feel more for each other than what they will admit. As they grow closer they heal each other’s emotional wounds and fall in love.

5. WAS IT LOVE? (Romance/Drama)

This storyline about a single mother who has not had a boyfriend for 14 years, but suddenly four romantic love interests appear in front of her. No Ae-Jung works as a producer for a movie company and faces potential courtship by a novelist, actor, CEO, and a PE teacher. Who will she choose from this diverse pool of men?

This is on Netflix.

Enjoy everyone and have a wonderful Friday night and weekend ahead.

    1. I’m so glad it helps… I usually post movie recommendations every Friday. I haven’t post in 2 weeks now cause my country is almost going to civil war.
