5 Things I do every night before bed

Welcome back to my blog and I still want to say thank you to all my one thousand and more followers.

I also want to say a big thank you to everyone that supported my 30 days writing challenge. I have been taking a little bit of break from writing and I am back now.

How is everyone doing?

On today’s post, I will be sharing with you all 5 things I do every night before bed but I’m going to share this little secret about me with you all.

Night time is actually my favorite time of the day. I usually accomplish a lot in the night than the day. I think been a mother has made me realised that I love night time. I usually have enough time for myself when Genesis is sleeping. I write my blog post and save them in drafts, I do a little skin care routine for myself, I watch movie and I read a lot in the night.

These are the 5 basic things that I do every night and I enjoy doing them.

5 Things I do every night before bed

1. READING

If you have been following my blog, you will know that I read a lot of books and novels. I’m so addicted to reading that I can’t do without it in a day. Mostly reading is the last thing I do before I sleep. It relaxes my mind and really makes me sleep better. I’m currently reading Gabriel’s Inferno by Slyvian Reynard and this book is divided into four different parts. I’m currently reading Gabriel’s Inferno which is the first book. I will write more about this book soon.

2. MUSIC

Music is another thing that I do before going to bed. I usually listens to slow jams at night and sometimes I sleep off while listening to music. I have a playlist that I named ‘Night Jams’. Music is a good sleep therapy for me.

3. WRITING

Well this post was composed in the night which explains why I love to write at night. This is usually the most peaceful time of the day for me and I find it easy to write in the night. I find blogging more fun in the night.

4. MAKING MY CALM TEA

I recently just discovered a calming tea for myself. Despite the fact that night time is my favourite part of the day, I’m usually exhausted before doing these little things that make my night enjoyable for me. My day time is usually filled with activities with my daughter and running errands.

Ingredients for the Tea

  1. Ginger
  2. Garlic
  3. Honey
  4. Lemon (optional)

Preparation

Peel the ginger and garlic and wash it thoroughly. Put them inside a blender but I used a small mortal to pound into paste. I put this paste inside a cup and added hot water and squeeze inside the lemon juice. This makes me feel really calm and bloating free.

5. A COOL BATH

I don’t even think I can do without doing this every night. I sleep better after having a cool shower and I don’t think there is anything more relaxing than this and I do have my little skincare routine at this time.
