My favorite movies that I never get tired of watching

It’s day 14th of the 30 days writing challenge and I can’t believe we are almost half way through it.

On today’s quest, I will be sharing with you all some of my favorite movies that I never get tired of watching. If you have been following my blog for a while now, you will know I love movies and reading novels which makes today’s post a very interesting and enjoyable one for me to write about.

I love Romcom a lot and don’t get all sad or surprised on me when you see some of these movies are from way back. I still have majority of these movies on my laptop and I don’t think I will ever get tired of watching them.

1. PRETTY WOMAN (1990)

The film’s story centers ond own-on-her-luck Hollywoodprostitute Vivian Ward, who is hired by Edward Lewis, a wealthy businessman, to be his escort for several business and social functions, and their developing relationship over the course of her week-long stay with him. The film’s title Pretty Woman is based on “Oh, Pretty Woman”, written and sung by Roy Orbison. I love this movie so much and this is the one that made me fell in love with Julia Roberts.

2. MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING (1997)

Julianne is shocked when she learns that her best friend Michael is soon getting married. Overcome with a surge of mixed emotions, she makes up her mind to sabotage his wedding and make him her own.

3. THE PROPOSAL (2009)

When New York editor Margaret faces deportation to Canada, she convinces her assistant Andrew to marry her in return for a promotion. A trip to his hometown, however, brings many surprises her way.

4. LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS (2010)

Pharmaceutical sales representative and serial womaniser Jake Randall meets his match in Maggie, a young woman who suffers from early-onset Parkinson’s disease, just as his career begins to skyrocket.

5. LOVE AND OTHER FOUR LETTER WORDS (2007)

A woman (Tangi Miller) must plan a fake wedding ceremony to appease her ailing grandmother.

6. THE PRINCE AND ME (2004)

Prince Edvard of Denmark travels to the US to attend a university. He meets Paige, a pre-med student and they fall in love, but she does not know he is a prince.

7. ENDLESS LOVE (2014)

Jade Butterfield is a reclusive young girl who doesn’t socialise much. Her chance meeting with former classmate David sparks off an intimate relationship which alters the course of her life.

8. LOVE AT FIRST HICCUP (2009)

A high-school freshman Victor (Devon Werkheiser) falls for a pretty senior named Anya (Scout Taylor-Compton) who is way out of his league.

9. THE FIRST TIME (2012)

A spark of attraction smolders, then ignites, between two teens (Dylan O’Brien, Britt Robertson) from different high schools who meet by chance at a party.

10. THE ACCIDENTAL HUSBAND (2008)

When radio talk show host Emma Lloyd advises one of her listeners to break up with her boyfriend, she does not anticipate that the jilted boyfriend will be back to ruin her life.

11. 100 FOOT JOURNEY (2014)

An Indian family moves to France and sets up a restaurant opposite a well-established French haute cuisine restaurant. An intense professional rivalry breaks out between the restaurateurs.

12. THE BIG WEDDING (2013)

When a long-divorced couple must pretend to be married due to the conservative nature of the birth mother of their adopted son, the move ruffles more feathers than they imagined.

13. RUNAWAY BRIDE (1999)

A big-city reporter falls in love with a small-town handywoman who has made a habit out of fleeing from the altar every time she decides to tie the knot.

14. NEED FOR SPEED (2014)

A street racer is framed by a rival who is also a wealthy business associate in a murder case. Upon his release, the street racer devises a plan with revenge in mind.

15. HOT PURSUIT (2015)

Rose Cooper, a by-the-book officer with the San Antonio Police Department, must protect Daniella Riva, the wife of a cartel informant, after they are chased by corrupt cops and armed gunmen.

  3. I have watched pretty woman, one of my favourites along with runaway bride and proposal. Growing up i couldn’t get enough of Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullocks. Up until now i still enjoy any movie featuring these two ladies. 😊😊 great post
