How to maintain a healthy skin

Healthy skin is not about buying every available skincare products in the store and designing your bathroom with them but having product(s) that simple works for your skin type and does it purpose.

I will be sharing with you guys simple tips I saw online and I couldn’t agree more on these valid points and steps listed in other to have a healthy skin.

When I tell you guys I don’t do much, I really mean I don’t do much. Sometimes all I do is just cleanse, tone and use my moisturizer while other times I just add my face routine with the rest of my body while bathing which means I use my beauty soap on my face. I will make a post on beauty soap that can be use as facial soap incase you feeling lazy.

Having a skincare routine and also pampering your skin isn’t a crime neither is it a must but I believe it’s a necessity because you want to maintain a healthy skin for yourself. This post isn’t about facial care routine only but the general skincare.

This tips were divided into three part for different time and what to do at each. There we have the daily steps and the weekly steps. These tips is for both men and women. I think sometimes this week, I will do a post on skincare routine for men.

DAILY TIPS

  • Take your makeup off
  • Wash your face
  • Apply moisturizer after cleansing
  • Take lukewarm water and not hot showers
  • Drink lots of water
  • Eat fruits and veggies
  • Get enough sleep. At least 8hrs

WEEKLY TIPS

  • Exfoliate
  • Use face mask
  • Exercise
  • Clean your makeup brushes
  • Wash your pillow cases, bedsheets, towels and cover clothes
  • Invest in silk pillowcases and beedsheet
