Dry hair can be caused by different kinds of factors which includes; dry weather, low humidity, and too much heat. If your ends are dry, when washing your hair, kindly concentrate the shampoo on your scalp and don’t skip conditioning.
If going out and have no time for a thorough conditioning, make sure you applied a leave in conditioner before combing wet hair. Do not forget to moisturize your hair.
Exposing your hair to much heat can cause a huge damage and hair breakage. Using hair dryers, flat irons or curling irons often or incorrectly. Hair cuticle can be damaged from extreme temperatures.
The best way to prevent overall heat damage is to give your hair break from all these styling tools and air drying your hair or stretching your hair with different hair stretching techniques.
USING A TOWEL TO DRY YOUR HAIR
After washing your hair and stepping out of the shower, it’s a natural thing to dry your hair with towel but the rubbing motion actually damages your hair when it’s most vulnerable.
Instead of rubbing water from your hair, blot a cotton Tshirt on tour hair instead.
