Blogmas day 28 | A visit to Apapa Amusement park on boxing day

Welcome back to my blog and it’s day 28 on blogmas edition posts. I missed day 26 and 27. I just needed a much deserved lazy day and sleeping in after our visit to the park.

It’s my daughter’s first Christmas celebration. I had the images of how her would be like but then reality sometimes is a party pooper.

On Christmas day, she started having skin reaction and running temperature. We took her to the hospital after we’ve all shoved enough Jollof rice, fried rice, fried prawn, chicken and goat meat with a whole lot of drinks. Mind you, no matter how sick Genesis, eating is never a problem 🀣🀣🀣.

After some tests and examination, the doctor confirmed the reactions to be Measles. It started showing much on her but luckily for her, she had taken yellow fever, measles and Hepatitis A immunization shot. This really helped because the reaction didn’t leave spots on her skin and as of today, she is getting a lot betterπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ.So on boxing day (Thursday) we decided to take thw kids out to the park and let them have fun. I thought Genesis wouldn’t participate but then she had a ride and literally enjoyed herself.

THE PARK

The park is so big and has a whole lot of rides, outdoor games, indoor games and it is just everything.

The only disadvantage is that, they have just 2 spots for food. One is cheap but the queue is crazy and it is the best spot if you have more than one child.

The second spot is a fancy restaurant which means money. Also you are not allowed to come in with your iwn drinks except baby food.

The main entry is free but you get a card with loaded unit to access the fun in games arena. It is a nice place for kids.
