Hello my beautiful apples,
The weekend is upon and I will be posting a lot this weekend and also there is a story 💃💃💃. I haven’t posted a story in a while so, I will be dropping one this weekend.
On this post, I will be showing you all how I grew my edges back in three months and also pictures are included. If you have been following my blog for a while, you will realise I love posting tips and reviews based on my own experience.
I think three months after giving birth to Genesis, I braided my hair (Ghana weaving or cornrow) and it’s been ages since I made this style. I have always battled with my edges while my hair at the back is full. This braid did a huge damage to my front hair. I love box braids and twist a lot. I don’t think I do any other style.
My edges in these pictures is really nice and these pictures are like 3 years ago.
Here is a picture of me in braid that finished my edges 😭😭😭 (I suck at taking pics)
This picture in black and white pulled my front hair almost beyond repair.
See my scraped edges in a protective style after I loosed the evil braids.
WHAT I USED
I will be totally honest with you all, I didn’t do much at all. For like months, I just ignored the edges till about two months ago.
- I used hair wonder hair cream and oil
- I just mixed the two inside a container, applied it and massage my front hair in a circular motion
- I do this 3 times a week
- I also use the hot oil massage
- I know Indian hemp is illegal in some countries but the leave is awesome for hair growth. I added the leave to the cream
- Protective style (didi and in English it is called flat weaving)
This is didi hairstyle up close.
So hair wonder is not available aside NIGERIA and I hope I’m right about this.
Here is how u can make your own edge growth cream.
The oil is made up of natural oils which are easy to get. It contains ;
- Shea butter
- Neem leaf oil
- Curry leaf oil
- Coconut oil
- Moringa leaf oil
- Castor oil
- And olive oil
These oils have amazing hair benefits.
This is my edges now after three months application.
My hairs is still growing and I’m really happy with the growth process.
