Hello my lovely Apples
What’s up? How is summer going? Well that question is actually for those enjoying summer right now not we that can’t go anywhere without getting drenched (it’s raining constantly in Nigeria).
You all know my favorite part of this blog is when I get to write about beauty and fashion. So, it’s another exciting post on fashion and I will be talking about the LBD.
WHAT IS THE LBD? It simply means THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS.
According to wikipedia, a little black dress (LBD) is a black evening or cocktail dress, cut simply and often quite short. Fashion historians ascribe the origins of the little black dress to the 1920s designs of Coco Chanel and Jean Patou intended to be long-lasting, versatile, affordable, accessible to the widest market possible and in a neutral colour. Its ubiquity is such that it is often simply referred to as the “LBD”.
You can’t do any wrong with a little black dress. I call it a solution to fashion emergency. It literally saves the day from any fashion trouble and leave you looking chic, stylish, classy and very girly.
In other words, you can choose to be any version of glamour with a LBD.
You can decide to go simple with flats, a lovely nice shade and a brown leather bag like my sister.
I love this combination because it is fresh, simple yet classy. This can be worn anywhere and will have heads turning 😗😘😍.
The “little black dress” is considered essential to a complete wardrobe by many women and fashion observers, who believe it a “rule of fashion” that every woman should own a simple, elegant black dress that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
