Motivation | My 5 Favorite Bible verses

Read Time:3 Minute, 14 Second

Hello my Apples, how are you doing this beautiful Wednesday morning?

Yes today is the last day of October and it’s a privilege to see this day. I’m grateful to God Almighty for His awesomeness, care, love, favor, guidance, protection, grace and His wonderful works in my life.

Today I want to share with you all my favorite Bible verses the I cannot do without everyday. In this present time when everything seems so hopeless and nothing seems to be working out, I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel for me.

MY 5 FAVORITE BIBLE VERSES

1. ISAIAH 61:1-3 KJV

This Bible passage talks about the promises of God to the Meek’s. My favorite is verse 3 because anyway I feel down and don’t see myself as someone created in God’s image, I go through this verse and claim.

Verse 3 says:

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them BEAUTY FOR ASHES, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord , that he might be glorified.

BEAUTY FOR ASHES

2. JOSHUA 1:8 KJV

Days that I see myself backsliding and I don’t have the zeal to even study the word of God or pray or try to accept the fact that I can’t do things without God, this is my source of inspiration. It reminds of the reasons why I need to study the word of God and it’s benefits.

This verse says

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

3. PSALM 91:1-16 KJV

This passage talks about the protection of God over his Children. Days that I was in serious stage of depression, I had to no hope of the future, I was constantly hurting myself. This is my Inspiration and my favorite verse is verse 1-2

Verse 1-2 says

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

4. ISAIAH 60:1 KJV

Days that I feel worthless, that I let things of this world overshadow the plan, talent and gift God has installed in me, this is my watchword.

It says

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

5. PSALM 23:1-6

This passage is a psalm of David I love so much. This passage tells me that no matter the tribulations, no matter how many times I’m lost, the shepherd is willing and able to find me. He also made promises of keeping me safe from my enemies till eternity.

Verse 1-6 says

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Thank you for reading and I hope this helps someone out there…
