Tea Tree Facial Scrub | Review

Hello my Apples, welcome to another post on product review.

So lately i have been eating a whole lot of nuts (groundnut) and i must confess, i’ve not been eating healthy. This has caused a lot of reactions especially on my face.

Remember i did a review on my experience using St. Ives scrub, i really wanted a conventional scrub that will also act as cleanser and can be use daily without any form of harshness or irritations.

I came across tea tree facial scrub and i said to myself, let me give it a trial. One of the thing that made me want to try it is the tea tree oil content in it.

About tea tree scrub

According to the manufacturer’s review, formulated to gently cleanse and stimulate your skin by helping to remove excess oil and dead skin cells to reveal a healthier, fresher looking complexion. The scrub is mild enough to use daily.

Aqua/Water/Eau, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Lauryl Betaine, Acrylates Copolymer, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Propanediol, Perlite, Phenoxyethanol, Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil/Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Mannitol, Sodium Chloride, p-Anisic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Cellulose, PEG-120 Methyl

It comes in a dark green colored tube with flip top. It is very attractive to the eyes.

Moisten the face with water and dispense the product onto fingertips. Using circular motions, gently massage the scrub over the face, avoiding the delicate eyes area. Rinse well with clean warm water.

My honest review

It is really mild and delivers effective cleansing. The particles (grannules) are small and the texture is so creamy that the scrubbing effect does not feel harsh. It doesn’t feel heavy on my face and when it comes to dead skin, it exfoliates so nicely.

The smell is mild and very nice. It is good for oily skin and it is a scrub and also cleanses. It says for all skin types but i can boldly say it is good for my combination skin (oily to normal skin).

My face looks cleaner & brighter after use and feels smooth after use.

  • Affordable and economical
  • Contains tea tree oil which is suitable for oily skin
  • It is mild and creamy but not heavy on the skin
  • It cleanses and smoothens the skin.

  • Not really a cleanser (2 in 1)
  • Not widely available in stores around

Summary: it’s a win win πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

It is a mild face scrub but works effectively. It is affordable and effective while working equally for all skin types.
